When moving an aquarium, it is wise to use some sort of additive that will decrease the amount of ammonia and nitrite in your aquarium. When the sand is disturbed, it releases a lot of built up nutrients back into the water, which will decay into ammonia. This will devastate the already stressed out livestock.
