ATB is one of the premier protein skimmer makers in the world. They have a long list of protein skimmers on the market, most of which are cone skimmers. However, earlier this year, ATB released a Hang on Tank protein skimmer (HOT skimmer for short).
Over the past few years, good quality hang on tank skimmers have been severely lacking. A few companies had a couple of decent HOT skimmers, but all fail in comparison to the hang on tank skimmers made by ATB. Not only can it hang on the back of an aquarium, but its components can be rearranged so that it can be an in-sump skimmer. Additionally, this new ATB multi-use skimmer is a cone skimmer with a bubble plate! I’ve got a thousand pictures, and even a video of these skimmers in action, so I’ll share a few. Enjoy!!!
