Tip of the Day – 10/24/09

Carpet anemones can be gorgeous and a great addition to any tank. But be very careful as they can move around the aquarium, eat fish, and can pack a powerful sting (though rarely occurs). Be sure to provide a well-established aquarium with high output lighting and plenty of room.

Coral Gardening In Fiji

Tip of the Day – 10/23/09

If you’re experiencing fish aggression, try to remove the aggressive fish from the aquarium. If you have a temporary holding aquarium, place the aggressive fish in there until the fish in the display tank can reestablish their dominance and possibly heal from any damages.

Reef-A-Palooza Starts Tomorrow

Along with CRASE ’09 in Oklahoma, the Reef-A-Palooza event will take place this weekend.
