Tip of the Day – 11/30/09

Mixing certain conspecifics (fish of same species) can lead to a lot of aggression. Research the fish you desire to keep, and if they are a good schooling fish, then add several at the same time. If aggression is likely, introduce only one to a tank.

    I would expand that to congenerics. An example would be a Scopas and Yellow tang.
