Tip of the Day – 8/25/2010

By: Brandon Klaus

When taking videos or photos of your aquarium, try turning off the pumps an hour or so before you start. This will remove any microbubbles, making the water clearer. This will also keep fish from having to swim around too much, making for more opportune shots. Additionally, it might be wise to clean your tank the day before. Cleaning it the day of might leave detritus and scraped off coralline suspended in the water.
