Tip of the Day – 10/9/2012

Sometimes fish just prefer live foods, despite any hobbyist’s attempt to entice them with the best frozen foods the industry has to offer. When finicky fish just turn their noses up to your initial offerings, it’s time to break out the live pods, brine shrimp, and feeder shrimp. The goal is just to get the fish eating, and you don’t have to feed live foods constantly. Try mixing it up just to get the fish comfortable enough with prepared foods, slowly weaning them off the live stuff.
